World Scout Jamboree

In the summer of 2019, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to go to the World Scout Jamboree in North America. Now, just over a year later, I still look back on my journey as something that broadened my view and taught me so many things. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I couldn’t have asked for a better time. I made lifelong friends and memories on the training weekends and the actual trip itself. On the Jamboree, I did so many amazing activities, such as team stand up paddle boarding and a 1km zip wire, met people from all over the world, and experienced so many countries' cultures.

Furthermore, I got the chance to go to New York, Washington DC, Canada and West Virginia (where the camp was). The money from the Bramshott Educational Trust gave me a boost and helped me get towards my goal. It helped me kickstart my fundraising by funding all the bake sales, local fairs and markets.
